Featuring water and dustproof housing, IP integration as well as other robotic control functions, the CR-X500 is engineered to fulfil the needs of outdoor broadcasting, surveillance and installation work.
Emphasizing on Canon’s traditional excellence in image quality, the CR-X500 incorporates a large 1-inch CMOS sensor that is capable of capturing and outputting 4K 50/60p footage with 4:2:2 color space, ensuring high quality broadcast suitable footage.
The large 1 inch sensor also has improved image noise performance, increasing the camera’s versatility and image quality in low light situations.
The CR-X500 has an integrated 15x zoom lens that allows for an extremely useful 25.5mm-382.5mm (35mm equivalent) focal length.
Recognizing the need for even longer reach, the CR-X500 also has a 30x Advanced Zoom mode in Full HD resolution that allows for greater digital zoom range if required.
Featuring a variety of features such as weather proofing, a wide range of movement as well as easy installation, CR-X500’s was built for durability, flexibility of use and ease of installation.
CR-X500 is also rated for IP55 standard, allowing a certain degree of water and dust proofing, ensuring the Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) is durable even in adverse weather conditions.
With the growth of IP production, the CR-X500 is positioned to be easily integrated into new and existing infrastructure with IP capabilities. Coupled with a 12G-SDI BNC terminal, the CR-X500 is designed to be flexible enough to integrate into current broadcast setups as well.
Shipping with a choice of either NU or U-4 control protocols, this further enhances the capabilities and ease of installation of the PTZ camera.
